Changes the UI language.

The labels don’t update immediately:

  • Use the Language dropdown to select your language
  • Force Lightroom to refresh the panel (required):
  • Go to Export To: and switch it to Email, CD/DVD, or Hard Drive
  • Then switch Export To: back to your normal export option
  • The BrandStamp Pro panel will reload with the new language

Use Watermark for logos, signatures, icons, and QR image files.

  • Enable Watermark: turns the watermark layer on/off
  • Watermark File + Browse: choose your watermark image
  • Tip: PNG with transparency works best (500×500 recommended)
  • Watermark Size: scales the watermark relative to the image
  • Watermark Opacity: controls transparency
  • X Offset (%) / Y Offset (%): moves watermark left/right and up/down
  • Rotate: quick rotate buttons for fast alignment (or type exact degrees if available)

Tips (Watermark)

  • If your watermark “disappears,” it’s usually off-screen: set X Offset = 0 and Y Offset = 0, then adjust from there.
  • For QR codes: this build does not generate QR codes. Use a QR image file via Watermark (same workflow as a logo).

Use Text Branding for website, copyright, client name, “Open House,” etc.

  • Enable Text Branding: turns the text layer on/off
  • Overlay Text: enter the text you want stamped
  • Text Font: choose a font from the dropdown
  • More… opens the Font Picker (Search + Sample preview)
  • Font Size: scales text relative to the image
  • Text Opacity: controls transparency
  • Wrap: enables text wrapping
  • Width %: controls wrap width
  • Note: wrap is disabled for vertical text
  • Vertical: stacks letters top-to-bottom (“true vertical”)
  • Rotate / X Offset / Y Offset: adjust placement (same logic as Watermark)

Tips (Text)

  • If text “disappears,” reset X Offset / Y Offset toward 0 and reduce Font Size to confirm it’s visible.
  • Wrap is disabled when Vertical is enabled (vertical stacks letters top-to-bottom).
Brandstamp UI Pins Grids

Controls the Text Branding color.

  • HEX Input: expects #RRGGBB
  • Examples: #0048ba, #ff91af, #ffffff
  • HSV Sliders: Hue (0–360), Sat (0–100), Val (0–100)
  • Hex and sliders are linked — changing one updates the other.
  • A 650-color hex chart is included in the Readme files.

Tips (Color)

  • If your chosen color doesn’t appear, confirm Text Branding is enabled and opacity isn’t too low.

Presets save and load your full configuration (logo, text, offsets, colors, fonts, and related settings).

  • Save Preset: save current settings
  • Load Preset: load a saved preset
  • Delete Preset: remove a preset

Tips (Presets)

  • Name presets by client/job/platform (example: Client_MLS.json).
  • Presets are language-agnostic — changing UI language won’t change your saved look.

The Live Preview shows a branded composite of your current settings so you can confirm placement before export.

How the preview image is chosen

  • The preview uses the active/first selected photo in your current Lightroom selection.
  • If multiple images are selected, preview still shows one image (the first/active one). This is normal.

If the preview is blank / doesn’t appear (Fix checklist)

Most cases are Lightroom not supplying a valid source file.

Try in order:

  • Select at least one photo in Library before opening Export
  • Close Export → select a photo → reopen Export
  • If folders were moved outside Lightroom and files are offline:
  • In Lightroom Folders panel: right-click missing folder → Find Missing Folder / Update Folder Location
  • Resize the Export window and confirm the BrandStamp Pro panel is expanded
  • If you see an unexpected watermark, check Lightroom’s built-in Watermarking section in Export and turn it off (BSP is separate)

Visual guides (optional)

  • Grids and alignment pins are visual reference guides only and do not affect exports.
  • Grids include Center/Thirds options and have opacity/size controls for ease of viewing.

Preview parity

BSP uses the same pipeline for preview and export — what you preview is what you export.

ImageMagick powers BSP’s Live Preview and export branding.

  • If ImageMagick is not installed correctly, BSP cannot render overlays.
  • Use the built-in buttons:
  • Download IM (Win)
  • Download IM (Mac)

If preview is blank and IM status is not Ready: install IM first.

Recommended update method (avoids corruption):

  • Click Check for Updates (A)
  • Download the update ZIP
  • Unzip to a safe location (Desktop or Downloads)
  • Lightroom Classic → File → Plug-in Manager…
  • Remove the old plugin (choose Do NOT discard / keep on disk)
  • Add the new plugin folder you unzipped
  • Verify green status indicator

Important:

✅ Do NOT drag-and-drop the new plugin folder over the old one.
Always remove the old plugin first, then install the new one cleanly.

  • Support: contact support at support@betterhomephotos.net
  • Check for Updates: checks online for a new version
  • User’s Manual: opens this guide
  • Recover License: opens the License Recovery page (use this if you lost your key or changed computers)
  • Activate: enter/paste your license key to activate BrandStamp Pro on this computer
  • Info: about BrandStamp Pro
  • Legal: license / legal information

Before emailing support: screenshot the entire Export window (panel + preview visible) and include your ImageMagick status (magick -version).

Recommended update method (safe + avoids corruption):

  • Click Check for Updates
  • BrandStamp Pro will tell you if a newer version is available.
  • Download the update ZIP
  • Unzip it to a safe location (Desktop or Downloads).
  • Open Lightroom Classic → FilePlug-in Manager…
  • Remove the old plugin (do not discard)
  • Select BrandStamp Pro in the list
  • Click Remove
  • When Lightroom asks, choose Do NOT discard / keep on disk
(This keeps your old version as a backup.)
  • Move the old plugin folder to a safe backup location
  • Example: Desktop/BSP_Backups/BrandStampPro_OLD.lrplugin
  • Install the new version
  • In Plug-in Manager, click Add
  • Select the new BrandStampPro.lrplugin folder you unzipped
  • Click Add Plug-in
  • Verify “green light” status
  • In Plug-in Manager, BrandStamp Pro should show a green status indicator
  • If it’s yellow/red, remove it and reinstall (most issues are from partial overwrites or a bad unzip)

Do NOT drag-and-drop the new plugin folder over the old one.
Overwriting can mix files between versions and corrupt both. Always remove the old plugin first, then install the new one cleanly.

Lightroom’s Resize to Fit applies to the entire export run.

If you export a mixed set of horizontal + vertical photos and you want resizing enabled, export in two quick passes:

  • Export Horizontals with your resize settings
  • Select Verticals and export again (branding settings stay the same)
  • Check Spam/Promotions folders.
  • If you used a different email at checkout (PayPal vs Stripe), try that address.
  • No access to that email anymore? Contact support with your receipt.

BrandStamp Pro™ checks for updates automatically (about once per day) and also includes a Check for Updates button. When an update is available, BSP opens the Recover License page so you can download the latest version securely.

Built for photographers worldwide: Preview = Export parity, Mac + Windows support, and 13 UI languages.
